Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has become a co-owner of Chelsea Women's team. Sport24.az reports that the 31-year-old Greek basketball player shared this on his social media account:
"Chelsea's history speaks for itself. I am excited to contribute to the future by supporting the continued growth of women's sports and them on this path. This is about ambition, heritage, and taking the game to the next level. Come on, Chelsea!".
It should be noted that Antetokounmpo is an NBA champion and the 2021 NBA Finals MVP. He has played in the "All-Star" match seven times in his career.
