For the first time in our country, the qualifying round matches of the 3x3 basketball World Cup will be held.
Idman.biz reports that the competition will be held on May 24-25.
In the capital Baku, both our men's and women's national teams will compete for a place in the main stage. Our men's national team will compete against the Canadian and British national teams in Group B, while our women's national team will compete against the Latvian and Egyptian teams in Group B. In the men's competition, Montenegro, Rwanda and Iran in Group A, and in the women's competition, Chile, Chinese Taipei and Brazil will try to advance from the groups in Group A.
Our men's national team will play their first match in the group against Canada on May 24 at 19:05, and our women's national team will play against Egypt at 18:15.
In the qualifying round, which will be held at the Sea Breeze recreation center, the teams that finish in the first two places in the groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The teams that finish in the top 3 will get the right to participate in the main stage of the World Cup.
It should be noted that the World Cup games will be held on June 23-29 in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia.
