The final and 3rd place matches of the Youth Basketball League (UGBL) among boys basketball players in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 age groups were played in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
Idman.biz reports that in the final game of the U-12 age group, the Baku Ballzone team defeated the Meteor F-Basket club with a score of 35-26 and became the champion.
The "Aztop Jr" club became the 3rd strongest team in the U-12 age group with a 27-25 victory over "Garadagh".
In the final of the U-14 age group, the Baku Ballzone club was stronger than the Baku Basketball Academy (BBA) with a score of 82-59 and rejoiced in the championship. The RIOEUGIM-2 team won the 3rd place by defeating UGIM-9 with a score of 61-58.
In the final match of the U-16 age group, the RIOEUGIM-2 club was stronger than the IOEUGIM-8 team with a score of 93-69 and won the championship. The owner of the 3rd place was the UGIM-10 basketball players who defeated the "Torpaq" club with a score of 54-78.
After the decisive games, the awarding ceremony took place. The cups and medals were presented to the winners by the sports director of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF) Turgay Zeytingoz, our FIBA-ranked referee Urfan Bayramli and the head coach of the U-16 national team consisting of boys, Erhan Toker.
