"Sumgayit", facing NTD in the first matches of the Azerbaijan Basketball League's play-in stage, lacked the strength to win.
"Report" reports that head coach Vadim Kuramshin said this in a statement to the club's press service.
The expert specifically noted NTD's productive game in the first half:
"I congratulate NTD on the victory. They showed high productivity in the first half of the game. It is no coincidence that they were remembered for 10 accurate "three-pointers" before the break and created a 20-point difference. In the second half, we wanted to get out of the situation, and it worked to some extent. But we couldn't fully implement our plan, we lacked a little strength."
V.Kuramshin stated that the game in the second half was promising for the return match:
"Our performance after the break gave us hope on the eve of the next meeting. We will prepare seriously for the game in Sumgayit."
It should be noted that the match held at the Baku Sports Palace ended with NTD's victory with a score of 121:107.
