In the NBA, "Los Angeles Clippers" fans used horse masks to distract "Denver Nuggets" basketball players during free throws.

There is no official confirmation regarding the reason for this choice, but it may be a reference to "Nuggets" star Nikola Jokic's love for horses. It is reported that after winning the NBA Finals in 2023, Jokic was looking forward to going to Sombor, Serbia to take care of his horses, and even considered missing the champions parade in Denver due to horse races.
Note that the 3rd game of the series ended with a crushing victory for the "Clippers" - 117:83.
