Turkish coach complained about referees

"We are very disappointed that we lost. The most important thing today was the performance of the referees."

Idman.biz reports that this was stated by the head coach of "Nakhchivan" Murat Dikmen in his statement to the club's press service after the game with "Absheron."

The Turkish specialist commented on the 79:85 defeat recorded in the second match of the Azerbaijan Basketball League play-off: "The referees failed to properly assess the level of toughness in the play-off stage. Therefore, our team's aggressive play in defense created a foul problem for us. It is the first time in my life that I see 4 fouls given with 2 minutes left in the game. Therefore, we could not play in contact against the opponent. The early foul problem of our center, forwards and playmaker greatly reduced our game rhythm. I am not normally one to complain about referees, but today we could not control the level of toughness of the match. That's why I think we lost. I hope we win the next match and register our name in the semi-finals."

It should be noted that "Absheron" has equalized the score in the series. The name of the semi-finalist will be clarified in the 3rd game.
