The Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF) is leaving behind a year of noticeable development.

He said that the outgoing year was successful for Azerbaijani basketball.
"I would especially like to emphasize our women's 3x3 basketball team. They became the winners of the Islamic Solidarity Games for the third time in a row. We should not forget our basketball players born in 2008-2009. They took second place in the CIS Games, leaving behind teams such as Belarus and Kazakhstan. The women's national team, which plays in Division B of the European Championship, showed that they are progressing by taking 12th place. The ABF official noted that the level of the Azerbaijan Basketball League has increased:
