Online and practical training sessions for young referees have started from June.
Idman.biz reports that the trainings are conducted under the leadership of the chairman of the Azerbaijan Basketball Referees Union, international (FIBA) category referee Alekber Hasanov.
During the sessions, participants are taught new rules, decision-making mechanisms on the court, and practical knowledge related to game management.
The main goal of the training program, in which a total of 10 young referees participate, is to increase the theoretical and practical knowledge of young referees and to ensure that they officiate in children's basketball leagues in the new basketball season.
Note that the sessions will continue until September.
