"We have prepared well for the game against "Neftchi"." According to Sport24.az, this was stated by the head coach of "Serhedchi" Evren Alkaya in a statement to the club's press service.
He shared his thoughts before the game with "Neftchi" in the XIV round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League: "We lost two games to the opponent, and we lost three. But I think we are playing well. In the last game with "Nakhchivan", despite Milenko Velikovic's injury, we performed confidently. We prepared according to their style of play. There will really be a fighting "Serhedchi" on the field tomorrow. Unfortunately, Chris Martin is injured and we will not be able to use him much. But we will take advantage of our new player Jimmy Nichols. I think we will be able to show ourselves tomorrow. We will try to end the losing streak. Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in the match because I am in the national team camp. But my assistant Murat Oney will be in charge of the team. We need to win this game."
