The first court of the "Basketball everywhere!" project, aimed at developing basketball in Baku, has been put into use. According to Sport24.az, the project is being implemented with the support of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation and the initiative of "Sabah BC".
The opening of the first court took place at 50B Shafayat Mehdiyev Street, Yasamal district. "Sabah BC" basketball players Ender Poladkhanli, Shirzad Shirzadov and Kamran Mammadov also participated in the event.
It should be noted that the main goal of the "Basketball everywhere!" project is to make basketball more accessible, to organize the leisure time of young people effectively and to contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in the neighborhoods. Within the framework of the project, citizens can provide information about the areas they deem appropriate.
