The draw for the new season of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup has taken place. Sport24.az reports that the event was held at the Baku Sports Palace.
"Nakhchivan", "Sabah", "Sarhadchi" and "Shaki" teams will start the competition from the 1/4 finals.
In the 1/8 finals, the matches "Sumgayit" - "Neftchi", "Ganja" - "Ordu", "Absheron" - "Quba" and "Lankaran" - NTD will take place. The winning team will advance to the next round based on the result of one match. The tournament will start on January 28.
It should be noted that "Neftchi" won the Azerbaijan Cup last season.
