NTD will seriously prepare for the return match with "Sumgayit" in the play-in stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
"Report" reports that head coach Tahir Bakshiyev said this in a statement to the press service of the capital club.
The specialist shared his views on the first match against the Sumgayit representative in the play-in stage:
"I congratulate the team. We took the first step on the way to the playoffs. We knew that a difficult game awaited us. "Sumgayit" proved that they are a good team, they fought to the end. But we have no right to be complacent. The return match will also be very difficult, so we will seriously prepare for that match."
The head coach noted that he is satisfied with the current form of the team:
"Our team is playing better now, but we just can't lose focus. My players can perform as I want them to. If they continue like this, we still have many games ahead."
It should be noted that the NTD - "Sumgayit" match held in the Baku Sports Palace ended with the victory of the former with a score of 121:107.
