"Sumgayit", preparing for the new season, has transferred American basketball player C.J. Jones.
"Report" reports with reference to the club's press service that the 27-year-old player, who is 198 cm tall, plays both as an offensive-minded defender and as a light forward.
Jones, who started his career in the "Birmingham" team of Alabama, has previously played in the Netherlands and Cyprus championships. He last played for the Panamanian club "Dragones de Don Bosco".
C.J. stood out in the Panama championship with an average of 19 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He even won the "Legionnaire of the Year" award in Panama.
