"Sumgayit" has strengthened with a new basketball player.
According to Idman.biz, the representative of the "City of Youth" has signed a 1-year contract with 28-year-old American point guard Keon Clergeot.
After playing for several teams in his country, the 185 cm tall basketball player played for Slovakian "MBK Handlova", Turkish "Balıkesir" and "Ormanspor", Portuguese "Lusitanya Expert" and North Macedonian "Tikvesh" clubs.
Last season, Clergeot averaged 11.8 points per game in the North Macedonian First League.
