American basketball player of "Sumgait" Si Cey Cons loves Azerbaijan very much. Sport24.az reports that he stated this in an interview with the club's press service.
The American player spoke about the conditions created for him in our country:
"I love Sumgait, as well as Baku. It is very nice to watch the sea from my window every morning when I wake up. I can't complain about anything here. I love the people, the food and Azerbaijan as a whole."
Cons also shared his thoughts on the atmosphere within the team and the performances in the current season: "Everything is fine in the team. We understand each other very well. We have a very good time both on and off the field. The main reason for the bad results was the lack of full formation of our team and the absence of some players. Everyone likes the coach's work and follows his instructions. We intend to win consecutive victories in the next games."
He also talked about the team's goal:
"We have a very good chance to qualify for the playoffs. Looking at the long-term plan, I think we will make it."
