"Sabah" basketball players are getting to know each other better from game to game.
"Report" reports that Shirzad Shirzadov, a member of the club, said this in a statement to the team's press service.
He spoke about the training camp they held in Lithuania:
"We are going through a high-level preparation process. True, there are certain difficulties due to fatigue. However, we continue our training. We have tested our strength in several test matches. The game against the host "Zalgiris" was difficult. The opponent had a majority of experienced players. Which ones have fought in the Euroleague. Currently, the atmosphere in the team is at a high level. From game to game, team members get to know each other better."
It should be noted that "Sabah" will represent Azerbaijan for the first time in the regular season of the FIBA Champions League. In the test games held in Lithuania, the "Owls" defeated the host's Juventus (90:83), Gargjday (96:92) and Nevejis (108:82) clubs, and lost to the Neptunas (88:98) and Zalgiris teams (58:75).
