"Shaki" head coach admits lack of physical fitness in the game against "Sabah"

"Shaki" was not physically prepared for the game against "Sabah" in the III round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.

"Report" reports that the head coach Bedri Meriç said this in a statement to the club's press service.

He said they started the match well:

"Actually, we started the match well. It was the same in the other 2 games. We can't continue it. Unfortunately, we are no longer physically ready. I am satisfied with the performance in the first half. But because we got tired in the 3rd period, we fell far behind in the score, the opponent took the rebounds. We need to see the mistakes and be more prepared. In the next round, we want to win our first victory in our first home game and start everything from scratch."

B.Meriç also emphasized that he was satisfied with the Turkish basketball player:

"Dorukhan Kuzu could not play in the matches with "Absheron Lions" and "Neftchi" due to documentation problems. He made his debut today. I am satisfied with today's performance."

The expert hopes that everything will be fine:

NTD is also a team without a win like us. But this match has an advantage for us. We play better in Shaki in front of our fans. I hope that everything will be fine after we start training for the first time in our field this week."
