"Sərhədçi" head coach Anar Saryev shared his thoughts about his team after the 84:70 victory over "Lənkəran" in the second round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League. Sport24.az reports that the specialist noted that the physical condition of most of the players was not encouraging.
Anar Saryev stated that almost all the basketball players in the team were sick: "I didn't like the first 30 minutes, but in the last six minutes of the fourth quarter we showed the basketball we wanted. We have a very important game against "Ordu" ahead of us. It will not be easy to play against them, so we need to make changes in the system. I congratulate my team — this victory is very important for us. I hope that we will show a better game in the next games".
