The "Sacramento" has set a new anti-record in its history for the number of consecutive defeats in the NBA.
"Report" reports with reference to the official website of the competition that the team suffered its 15th consecutive defeat, losing to Orlando with a score of 94:131.
Sacramento thus surpassed the 14-game losing streak recorded in the 1959/1960 and 1971/1972 seasons, when it played under the name Cincinnati Royals.
Team leaders Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine will have to miss the remainder of the 2025/2026 season due to injury. Sacramento, currently with 12 wins and 45 losses, is last in the Western Conference.
It should be noted that the NBA record for consecutive losses is 28 matches. This result belongs to Philadelphia (2014/2015 and 2015/2016) and Detroit (2023/2024).
