It is difficult for the "Sabah" basketball club to win matches in the main stage of the FIBA Champions League without rotation.
This was stated to "Report" by the team's head coach, Rimas Kurtinaitis.
The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match they lost to the French representative "Elan Chalon" (71:84) on the road:
"It is always difficult to play away. Because the home team has an advantage. Although we didn't start well, we managed to fix the situation during the game. But I have to repeat what I said last time. It seems difficult for us to win such games without rotation. We need a ready player on the bench like Ender Poladkhanli. The limitation of our substitution opportunities causes us to lose in terms of activity and aggressive play in the 4th period."
According to R.Kurtinaitis, the players' fatigue towards the end resulted in inaccurate shots:
"That's why I have no complaints about the players. Because each of them put their full strength on the field. I hope that the turn to rejoice in victory will also reach us. Work is being done in this direction. But it takes time for this."
It should be noted that "Sabah" lost to the Czech representative "Nymburk" (65:93) and the German "Alba" (76:85) in the previous two matches.
