The rivals of "Absheron Lions" and "Neftchi" basketball clubs representing Azerbaijan in the European Cups have been determined.

"Report" informs that the draw ceremony for the regular season was held in Munich, the capital of Germany.

According to the results of the draw, the representative of Absheron will face the Cypriot club "Anorthosis" in the first qualifying round. The winner of this pair will continue the fight in Group H with the clubs "Casademont" (Saragossa, Spain), "Falco" (Hungary) and "Bakken Bears" (Denmark).

"Neftchi" will compete in Group I with the clubs "Kalev/Kramo" (Estonia), "Bursaspor" (Turkey) and "Trefl" (Poland).

It should be noted that "Absheron Lions" took fourth place in the Azerbaijan Basketball League in the 2024/2025 season. "Neftchi" won a silver medal. The qualifying round matches will be held on September 24 and October 1, and the regular season matches will be announced later.
