"Report" informs that this was stated by Sabah's head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis in his statement to the club's press service after the final match of the Azerbaijan Basketball League against Neftchi.
The specialist commented on the match (76:79) in which they lost in the third game of the decisive series:
"We started the game very badly. There was even a time when the point difference increased to 20. However, no tragedy happened. We are ahead in the series. It was a match worthy of the final series. I congratulate the opponent on the victory. We do not have time for extra training because we play every two days. The principle of 'they hit those who don't hit back' applies here as well, just like in football."
It should be noted that Sabah won the previous two matches. The next match is scheduled to be held on May 8. The team that defeats its opponent 4 times in the series will be the winner of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
