The experience at the FIBA Champions Cup in Bangkok, Thailand, will make Azerbaijan's women's 3x3 basketball team stronger for the challenges ahead.
The team's head coach, Ratomir Delic, told "Report" about this.
The Serbian expert shared his thoughts on winning the silver medal at the tournament:
"I believe that this experience will make us stronger for the challenges ahead. I am proud of the girls. It is really nice to work with them."
R. Delic added that they had faced injury problems in the last month:
"Considering all this, we can say that we have achieved a very good result. We had some big wins in this tournament."
The head coach also touched upon the match they lost to the Netherlands in the final:
"We are still somewhat disappointed that we did not put up enough resistance in the final. But this is sports. No matter what the result is, it is difficult to be completely satisfied if you do not finish the race as a winner. The taste of defeat is never pleasant."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani women's 3x3 basketball team lost to the Netherlands with a score of 12:21 in the final of the FIBA Champions Cup.
