The experienced athlete, talking about his love for basketball, said that this sport has a special place for him:
"I love basketball very much. We Greco-Roman wrestlers play basketball before training. Despite the fact that I have finished my professional career, I play basketball at least once or twice a week. This is my favorite, native sport.
There is great support from our state in the development of basketball. I invite everyone to basketball. It is an interesting and positive sport. It is developing rapidly in Azerbaijan. I wish everyone success."
