There were controversial referee decisions in the "Quba" - "Lankaran" game, which was held in the IV round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
"Report" informs that the head coach of "Quba" Shahriyar Asgarov made a statement to the club's press service after the match they lost with a score of 87:102.
He attributed the turning point of the match to the player's mistake:
"We lost with that too. There was a 15-point difference. There were no fans again. There were also some controversial decisions by the referees. We shouldn't dwell on that. We just didn't play well. I can't say that any basketball player played well or badly. We looked weak as a team overall. We still have shortcomings. "Lankaran" also doesn't give a weak impression. Their legionnaires are at a good level. We have to prepare a little and play well against the stronger "Nakhchivan"."
