Zaur Pashayev, the captain of the "Quba" basketball team, is looking for a sponsor for the club. Sport24.az reports that the 42-year-old experienced player made a statement to the press service of the regional representative regarding this matter.
Pashayev stated that he wants to provide more support to the team:
"The Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) is progressing at a high level. There has practically never been such a championship in the history of the country. It would be great if the ABL had 10 teams and the 2nd league had 6 teams. Because it will be more interesting. We are also looking for sponsors. I am also looking for a sponsor to support the team. The Azerbaijan Basketball Federation is also doing its best. "Quba" is financed by the federation. It would be great if we could find a sponsor as well. All teams want to be leaders in Group B, and so do we."
