A strange incident occurred in the FIBA Europe Cup basketball match between Poland's "Anvil" club and Greece's PAOK team.
Idman.Biz reports that while the score was 84:80 in favor of "Anvil", six players from the Greek team entered the court with 2:14 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. According to the rules, no more than 5 players can be on the court.
The referees noticed the error only a few seconds later, after "Anvil" players demanded that the game be stopped and a technical foul be given to the Greek team for breaking the rules. But as a result, the Polish club was given a technical foul for overreacting to the incident.

The match ended with PAOK winning 94-93. The F group, in which the teams compete, also includes "Trepça" (Kosovo) and "Löwen Braunschweig" (Germany).
