Our U-16 basketball players defeated Ireland in the European Championship

Azerbaijan's U-16 women's basketball team has won its first victory at the European Championship.

Idman.biz reports that the team, which is in Division B, defeated Ireland 64:62 in the game for 17th-19th places.

The national team will play its last match in the tournament tomorrow. Our basketball players will face the Northern Ireland team.
