6 teams competed in two groups. The Azerbaijani national team competed in Group B.
Our women's national team, which included Dina Ulyanova, Aleksandra Mollenhauer, Arika Carter, and Brianna Frezer, started the competition with a match against Egypt. Our team, which won this match, lost to its second opponent, Latvia. In another match, Egypt was stronger than Latvia. As a result, 3 teams scored the same points, and our national team was last due to the goal difference.
Chile, Chinese Taipei, Brazil in Group A, and Latvia, Azerbaijan, and Egypt in Group B will play for semi-final tickets.
