The international basketball tournament "Airom Cup" has started in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan is represented at the competition by the national team of boys under 14, led by Polad Hasanov.
In addition to our national team, the tournament also includes the Kazakh "Ayrom", Georgian "Kutaisi", Kyrgyz "Edelweiss", Russian "Devon" and "Akhtuba" club teams.
In the first game, our basketball players faced "Edelweiss" and won with a score of 94:13.
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament, which will last until June 22, will be determined after round-robin games.
