Idman.biz informs that the 24-year-old player shared his thoughts before the last match of the play-off stage with "Nakhchivan" in the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
- The team was able to overcome the psychological barrier in the last game and won. The score was equalized in the play-off series. You also played a big role in this victory. How would you evaluate the past matches?
- We played a good game as a team. If we fight like this in the next match, our chances of winning are high. We don't want the season to end soon, so we are doing our best to go as far as possible.
- In the 3rd match of the play-off, both teams will fight "to the death" on the floor. In your opinion, what does the team need to continue on its way?
- Yes, this game is a critical match for both teams. Therefore, it will be a beautiful and at the same time, intense meeting. On my own behalf, I can say that I will do my best in that match. If we act as a team, we will overcome every difficulty. We have proven this during the season.
- You also have Eurocup experience. You participated in European tournaments while playing in Turkey. You have been in Azerbaijan for a short time. What positive and negative aspects can you note in our basketball?
- I didn't have a very big impression of Azerbaijani basketball until I came here. After coming, I saw that there is a good competition here. Whether local or legionnaire, everyone fights to the end on the floor. Very valuable coaches and players play in your league. Therefore, ABL is a championship that should be valued more.
- Would you like to play here again next season?
- I got used to Azerbaijan in a very short time. I met very nice people. I would like to play for a long time in such an atmosphere, in a country where I am valued. I hope that managers and head coaches also think positively about me in the same way.
