"Club representatives contacted me and said they wanted me to return. NTD has always been able to win. I received an offer at the beginning of last season as well, but I had other plans. Sport24.az reports that these words were said by NTD basketball player Quinton Campbell in an interview with the club's press service.
The 31-year-old basketball player said that the situation has become a little more difficult this season:
"This is sport and sometimes these things happen. What is important in sports is not how you start. The main thing is how you end the season. I have spoken with the coaching staff and their goal is to show that NTD is a strong club, to change the course and rise to the top again. My personal goal is to help the team in any way possible in every game. I watched the Azerbaijan basketball league, but I can't say that I watched it very closely."
