NTD, who lost to "Shaki" (81:88) in the IV round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, fought to the end.
"Report" informs that head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev said this in a statement to the club's press service.
The expert noted the lack of big players in rebounds:
"It was a difficult game. We found out at the last moment that our new player - Langdon Hatton will miss this game. He could not get his license on time. Therefore, we had to put the injured Jamal King on the field. He hadn't practiced for a week. Nevertheless, the team fought, played until the end. But we lacked a big player in rebounds. Hatton could have helped us in this regard".
The head coach said that the team has not yet fully formed:
"The team has not yet fully formed. Currently, only four legionnaires are playing. But we are solving this issue. Hatton has already joined us. Another legionnaire will arrive soon. We are not discouraged. The most important thing is that the team is fighting, playing with desire. I think victories will come soon".
