NTD basketball club fought until the end in the match against "Absheron Lions" in the XIII round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev said this in a statement to the club's press service.
He emphasized that the main problem in the team has not been solved yet:
"We had a good game, but victory is not given for a good game. We still can't solve the main problem, even though we work hard on it. We are losing in rebounds. Today we gave the opponent 16 rebounds in defense, and we took only 6 rebounds ourselves. This is second chance points. We lost the game by 7 points. We made 12 mistakes, and the opponent made 5. Despite such statistics, we fought until the end. This shows that the team has good potential and is capable of more. We have two important games ahead - away against 'Shaki' and at home against 'Ganja'. We are already obliged to win. Everyone expects us to win".
It should be noted that the match "Absheron Lions" - "NTD" ended with a score of 100:93.
