Speaking about the current situation and goals of the team, he said that the mood has been high in recent days: "The atmosphere in the team has been very good for the last week. Everyone understands what needs to be done to achieve good results and works harder to win. At the beginning of the season, there were both ups and downs. One of the main reasons for this was that our team could not play with a full squad. Now we are in full shape and everyone is working hard with great desire to change the situation. We are moving forward a little every day. We will try to perform better in the second round".
Macky also highly appreciated the level of the Azerbaijan Basketball League: "The level of the ABL is very high, there is strong competition between the teams. Frankly, I expected such a level and the league has fully met my expectations".
The American basketball player also noted that he is satisfied with his life in Azerbaijan: "My life in Azerbaijan is very beautiful. Baku is one of the most interesting and beautiful cities I have ever seen. The only difficulty is the language barrier, but people are very kind and hospitable".
