A productivity record was set in the final series of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
Idman.biz reports that the 5th match of the decisive stage of the 2024/25 season was marked by Sabah's record.
Rimas Kurtinaitis's team became the first team to score more than 100 points in the final. "Sabah" defeated "Neftchi" with a score of 107:89. A total of 196 points scored is also a new record for the finals of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Championship, which previously had a different name, has been called this way since the 2022/23 season. "Sabah", who defeated "Ganja" 3:2 and "Khazri" 3:1 in the previous two finals, is also leading in the series this time - 3:2.
