"Neftchi" basketball team's goal in the European Cup is to advance to the second round

The games of the "Neftchi" basketball team in the main stage of the European Cup will be intense and interesting.

The expert spoke about the team's goals in the tournament:

"This is a historic moment for "Neftchi". The main goal is to fight well, represent the club properly in this tournament and advance to the second round by winning as many victories as possible".

The Georgian coach spoke about the rivals in Group I:

"We have studied the opponents. All teams are strong enough. "Trefl" (Sopot, Poland) has local players who play in the national team. Latvia's "Kalev" also has a strong squad. Azerbaijani representative "Absheron Lions" has also added experienced and quality players to its squad. It is difficult to call any club a favorite. Because there will be very intense and interesting games".

According to Daviti Chivchivadze, the current season is a historic moment not only for "Neftchi", but also for Azerbaijani basketball:
