Marcus Morris, who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA), has been arrested.
According to "Report", citing TMZ Sports, he is accused of fraud.
The 35-year-old American is accused of stealing more than $250,000 from casinos in Las Vegas.
He allegedly obtained $115,000 with fake receipts in May 2024 and embezzled $150,000 in the same way a month later.
Morris was arrested at one of the airports on Sunday. The court rejected the lawyers' petition to release the basketball player on bail.
It should be noted that M. Morris has not played since 2024. His last NBA club was "Cleveland". He played 834 games during his career.
