Gilbert Arenas, a former guard for several clubs in the National Basketball Association (NBA), has been arrested on suspicion of organizing an illegal gambling business.
According to "Report", the press service of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California reported this.
Arenas allegedly leased his mansion from September 2021 to July 2022 for the purpose of hosting high-stakes illegal poker games. Several Israeli citizens were also detained along with the basketball player.
Arenas is 43 years old. In the NBA, he played for the "Golden State", "Washington", "Orlando", and "Memphis" teams.
He participated in the NBA All-Star games in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
