The basketball world has suffered a great loss - NBA legendary player and coach Lenny Wilkens has passed away at the age of 88.
İdman.Biz reports that L. Wilkens participated in the NBA All-Star Game nine times during his career and led the "Seattle SuperSonics" club to the league championship in 1979.
He has played in 2,487 matches as a coach - this figure is a record in NBA history. L. Wilkens has 1,332 wins in his record, which is the third highest result in league history.
Lenny Wilkens is one of only five people inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach.
