"Every end is a beginning. The story we started two years ago has come to an end." Sport24.az reports that the head coach of "Nakhchivan" Murat Dikmen wrote this in his social network account.
The Turkish specialist announced his resignation:
"When I arrived, as a newly created club in the league, we finished the regular season in second place with 84% wins, played in the finals of the championship and cup, and earned the right to participate in European cups. We played a role in the development of local players. We became a respected and enjoyable team to watch in the Azerbaijan Basketball League. I thank everyone who contributed. I wish the "Nakhchivan" club success in the future."
It should be noted that "Nakhchivan" lost to "Absheron" in the play-off stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League and failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
