The Turkish expert announced that he was parting ways with the club: "When I arrived, as a newly established club in the league, we finished the regular season in second place with an 84% win rate, played in the finals in the championship and cup, and gained the right to participate in European cups. We played a role in the development of local players. We became a respected and enjoyable team to watch in the Azerbaijan Basketball League. I thank everyone who contributed. I wish the "Nakhchivan" club success from now on."
It should be noted that "Nakhchivan" lost to "Absheron" in the playoffs of the Azerbaijan Basketball League and was eliminated from the semi-finals.
