NTD basketball club is strong enough to create problems for any opponent.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the team member Murad Babayev in a statement to the club's press service.
Speaking about the first match, which will take place on April 4, M. Babayev emphasized that the team is focused on winning:
"Sumgayit" is a strong opponent and a difficult game awaits us. Our main goal is to gain an advantage in the first game. As a team, we are fully focused and will go out on the field to win. Preparation is continuing at a high level. We work hard in training both physically and tactically. The atmosphere in the team is very good".
The basketball player said that he believes in a different result in the match with "Sumgayit" this time:
"In the Cup game, our team's squad was not yet fully formed, and the newly joined players were in the adaptation phase. I believe that the result will be different this time. I think we have a more settled squad now and therefore we are showing a more stable game. Including me, 5-6 players joined the season later. In the last round, we also showed that we are now strong enough to create problems for any team."
Touching upon his performance, M. Babayev stated that he wants to play better in the play-off stage:
"In general, I would rate the season as normal, but I always want to do better. I continue to work on myself and try to give maximum benefit to my team. My main goal is to perform better in the play-in and play-off stages."
