Israeli basketball clubs "Maccabi" and "Hapoel" have applied to the Euroleague to hold their home games in Israel. This initiative was triggered by the recent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to the source, the issue will be put to a vote in the near future.
Previously, for security reasons, Israeli teams held their home games outside the country – in Serbia and Bulgaria.
