"NTD is a good team. They go out to win every game. They have a strong coaching staff. The opponent will fight to the end." Sport24.az reports that Rashid Abbasov, the captain of "Lankaran", said this in a statement to the club's press service regarding the match against NTD in the 1/8 finals of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup.
He also emphasized that his former team has a good squad:
"They have a valuable local player like Akbar Mammadov. At the beginning of the season, NTD's situation was not so good. Now their squad has completely changed. New legionnaires have joined the club. They have become stronger. But I wouldn't say it will make a big difference for us. Because we go out to win every game. It will be difficult. But I believe we can win. Since the cup is played with a 3+2 system, there is a chance to win in every match."
It should be noted that the "Lankaran" - NTD match will be held on January 28 at 14:00 at the Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex.
