Langdon Hatton talked about his transfer to "Sabah", team adaptation and Azerbaijani basketball

"Preparation is going very well. Everyone is focused on the game. This game is a great opportunity for us. Especially considering that we will play against "Sabah", who plays in the Champions League. The energy in the team is high. The guys are serious in training and I think everyone is eager to show that we are a good team. I had to miss the first match due to licensing issues, so I only participated in the last two games. I think we are still adapting to each other. There has been a big change of players in the team and I have been on the court with a different squad in every game since I have been here. I think we can fully improve the situation as we spend more time together and find our rhythm". Sport24.az reports that American basketball player of "Sabah" Langdon Hatton said in a statement to the club's press service.

The player also shared his thoughts on the reason for choosing the Baku club and the level of the Azerbaijan Basketball League:

"I chose NTD because it's a new opportunity for me. I really liked the role they had in mind for me. The team needed a tall player and I thought I would fit well into this system with my characteristics on the court. The level of the Azerbaijan Basketball League is quite high. The fact that three different teams play in European Cups is an indicator of the strength of the league. The games are very competitive".

He also emphasized that he likes Azerbaijan very much:

"I have liked Azerbaijan very much so far. Baku is a beautiful city - there are many places to see, the food is great and the people are very friendly. I am having a very good experience both on and off the court".

It should be noted that the NTD - "Sabah" match will be held on November 16 at the Baku Sports Palace.
