Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant has responded to former National Basketball Association (NBA) player Charles Barkley.
Idman.Biz reports that Barkley has repeatedly criticized Durant since he joined the Golden State Warriors. According to Charles, Kevin did not win the championship as the team's leading player, but was simply the "bus driver."
"I drove the bus, I filled the tank, I was everything - fuel, tires, axle, brakes. I played every role on that team," Durant said.
He, in turn, criticized Barkley for not being able to become a champion: "He never understood what it meant to put his ego aside to help the city, the team, to win a championship. Everything had to revolve around him. His whole life, his whole career."
