"First of all, training gives me the impetus to play so productively".

According to İdman.Biz, this was stated by Keon Clergeot, the American point guard of the "Sumgayit" Basketball Club, in an interview with the club's press service.

He shared his thoughts on his productivity this season.

We present the interview:

- This season you have scored 50 points in two games. We are talking about games with NTD and "Quba". How do you do it?

- I do it all for the team. If my productivity benefits "Sumgayit", I try to make it happen.

- Other American players in the Azerbaijan Basketball League can't score that many points...

- First of all, training gives me the impetus to play so productively. In every training session, I am remembered with a minimum of 30 3-point shots. In addition, I also practice medium-range shots. This makes my job easier. Secondly, it is impossible to block me!

- Do you analyze opponents before each game?

- Of course, this is a key point for me. I carefully examine each of our next opponents. I pay special attention to how they defend.

- Are you having the most productive games of your career here, right?

- Yes. I have never been able to play so productively in every game anywhere else. Before Azerbaijan, my highest score was 36 points in Slovakia.

- What are the team's goals this season?

- Of course, our biggest goal is to qualify for the playoffs. After we leave the playoffs behind, we want to move forward as much as possible.
