Israeli national basketball team coach Ariel Beit-Halahmi humorously answered a question about how his team should stop Greek national team leader Giannis Antetokounmpo in the 1/8 finals of "Eurobasket 2025".
Idman.biz reports that the game ended with a score of 84:79 in favor of the Greeks.
"I think we need an M-16. That would be the easiest way," Beit-Halahmi said before the game.
After the defeat, he noted: "He is one of the top three players in the world, he has a strong and unique game, and there was very little we could do."
Antetokounmpo secured his team's place in the 1/4 finals with 37 points and 10 rebounds in the match. In the 1/4 finals, he helped his team win against Lithuania with 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist - 87:76.
