The basketball player's lawyer stated that Beasley is ready to cooperate with the League. His name had previously surfaced in a federal investigation, but it was later revealed that the player was not the target of the investigation.
The scandal has already cost him the termination of his 3-year, $42 million contract with the Detroit Pistons. Beasley played 82 games for the Pistons last season, where he averaged 16.3 points per game.
